CrystalType™ Technology
TypeServer incorporates Metagraphics' CrystalType™ rendering technology that produces typeset-quality text at virtually any size or resolution needed by your application. CrystalType combines advanced TrueType font rasterization with enhanced anti-alias and color-blending operations for high quality output to monochrome, grayscale, color or LCD display bitmaps.

Performs TrueType rasterization to video memory, off-screen video memory or to system memory buffers. |

Renders output to bitmaps with color depths from 1 to 32 bits-per-pixel. |
